KHAO KAENG RESTAURANT
KHAO KAENG
The project tackled a complex space, merging two areas with a floor level change. Addressing the unique challenges of the compact, oddly shaped space, the design aimed at achieving optimal functionality, emphasizing the fusion of functionality and ambiance. A modern interpretation of Asian design infused the interior, highlighted by custom communal seating and an assortment of layered seating configurations.
Despite the spatial limitations, the project successfully realized the owner's aspirations, integrating a large wine cellar and expansive bar seating while harmonizing indoor and outdoor spaces, ultimately delivering a dynamic dining experience that resonates with the modern Asian-inspired aesthetic.
