AB design studio, Inc. partnered with Eureka! to design the Hawthorne location, bringing the brand’s signature blend of casual sophistication and modern industrial style to a unique setting adjacent to the Hawthorne Airport. Known for its gourmet burgers, elevated American classics, and curated craft beer and whiskey program, Eureka! needed a space that reflects its vibrant culinary identity while creating a welcoming environment for locals and travelers alike.

The design concept emphasizes connectivity and energy, with an open layout that encourages social interaction. A central bar serves as the focal point, anchoring the space and showcasing Eureka!’s extensive selection of small-batch spirits and rotating craft beers. The bar design incorporates rich wood tones, metal accents, and bold lighting fixtures, reinforcing the industrial aesthetic while adding warmth and character.

Interior finishes include reclaimed wood, exposed architectural elements, and custom lighting that creates a dynamic interplay of texture and light. Accented ceilings and patterned wall treatments introduce visual interest, while comfortable seating arrangements accommodate both intimate dining and larger gatherings. The design team also integrated expansive windows and outdoor seating to connect the interior with the surrounding streetscape, enhancing the sense of openness and community.

Behind the scenes, AB design studio developed a highly efficient kitchen and back-of-house layout to support smooth operations and maintain the brand’s commitment to quality service. Collaboration with graphic designers ensured that menus, signage, and environmental graphics align seamlessly with the architectural vision, creating a cohesive brand experience.
