Miguel Cuadros is Hospitality Design Leader focused on creating signature Interior Design backed by a seasoned approach pulling from an deep portfolio of work and an extensive world wide career path. Miguel has participated as an award wining designer, working with an impressive list of design firms and within the industry, often sitting on the ownership side of the table. We’re excited to introduce AB design studio's latest Principal Interior Design Leader, Miguel Cuadros! We are thrilled to share in his unique story.

Miguel brings over 25 years of experience as well as an international perspective and a well-stamped passport, having worked on projects from Hong Kong to Cairo. “People often see me as a bridge between the interiors world and the architectural world,” Miguel says. “I love putting together design narratives, design concepts, or selecting materials, but you’ll also find me in meetings with architects discussing the building, and how we can create a holistic design together.”
Most of all, Miguel’s passion for hospitality design is palpable. “It's being able to design and create something that emotionally touches us,” he explains. “And it’s helping the client to deliver a great guest experience.”

Miguel has been very fortunate to live in many places with cultural contrast such as Peru, Australia and Hong Kong. This truthfully shaped his character and influenced his design position. His principle of design philosophy is about provoking new ways of thinking about what luxury in hospitality means. His creative visions have been defined by a seamless alignment of cultural and design sensibilities, modern luxury, art and craftsmanship.

Miguel joined AB design studio in September 2022, and has been busy growing the firm’s interior design team. “I've been interviewing a lot of talented candidates,” he says. “You're bringing in all these talented people with different backgrounds and they all have something to contribute.”
With his extensive hospitality-design background, Miguel’s ambition is for AB design studio to become a leader in hotel and resort design, which is also a priority for the firm’s founding partners, Clay Aurell and Josh Blumer.
