RIVERBENCH WINERY

Riverbench Vineyard & Winery opened a wine tasting room in the heart of the Funk Zone when it began producing its own limited-quantity wines. The tasting room features local still and sparkling wines from Riverbench, a sustainably farmed vineyard established in 1973. The winery produces excellent wines, many of which are available exclusively through its wine tasting rooms in Santa Maria and Santa Barbara, California.

AB Design Studio worked closely with Riverbench Vineyard & Winery, listening attentively to their vision and needs throughout the entire process. Their collaborative approach ensured that every design detail captured the essence of the winery’s values and aesthetic. The result is a space that reflects the winery’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and a deep connection to its identity, rooted in the earth of the Santa Maria Valley. By embracing the winery's core identity, AB Design Studio created a wine tasting room enhances the tasting experience while embodying the winery's story and values, using earthy tones that evoke the origin of the wine and its deep connection to the land.
