AB Design Studio worked diligently to adapt Finney's brand to reflect the essence of downtown San Luis Obispo. They took the time to truly understand the client’s vision, creating a space that felt authentic to the local culture while maintaining the core values of Finney’s brand. This collaborative effort resulted in a beautifully designed space that perfectly complements the welcoming and vibrant spirit of San Luis Obispo.
The front façade of Finney’s Crafthouse in San Luis Obispo stands out on the streets of the city, with a large glazing system framed by a white-painted plaster wall and cornices, all in a Spanish-style design. The door opening adds to the rustic charm, while the signature electronic signage marks the entrance, making the location easily recognizable to both locals and visitors. Inside, the space exudes a vintage reclaimed wood style that enhances the industrial feel, while the open ceiling adds to the expansive and airy atmosphere.

The interior space is double height, but the wooden ceiling beams are set lower, framing the seating area and supporting stylish lighting fixtures that contribute to the cozy, yet modern ambiance. Behind the bar, a television ribbon and blackboard menu display offer a detailed view of the food and drink options, complemented by an impressive selection of wine and beer taps. The location stands out with its stunning design, featuring the largest bar of all Finney's locations.
